For over 50 years, Queen Elizabeth has delivered the Queen’s Speech every Christmas Day, year in and year out. The speech is where she addresses the past year in her country and what her hopes are for the upcoming 12 months.
It has been a tradition for many many years and one that’s likely to continue, even when William and Kate are ruling. Kate is expected to be heavily involved in the King’s Speech, and some speculate that she might even be helping to deliver the messages too.
