It’s long been reported that the real feud among the halls of the palace may not at all be between Kate and Meghan – but Kate and Camilla! Assuming Prince Charles will get to the sit on the throne at some point, even for a short period of time, Camilla will become Queen Consort before Kate does.
However, Kate will eventually replace her in the role, and it remains to be seen how well the recently downgraded Camilla will accept that fact. It’s certainly no question of which Queen Consort would be more popular.
