Although we’re reasonably confident about what will happen once Kate is Queen consort, we don’t really know anything for a fact. As we’ve seen in recent years, tradition doesn’t mean much anymore. Just because something’s been done for decades, even centuries, it can still be changed in the future.
William and Kate are two modern royals, so there’s a good chance they’ll defy expectations in some way. As long as they don’t tarnish the Royal Family’s name while doing it, though, then everything should be just fine.
