[post_page_title]She won’t have to curtsy[/post_page_title]
Even though Kate is currently a prominent member of the Royal Family, she still has to pay her respects to those who are higher up the pecking order. Because of this, she has to curtsy when in the presence of Queen Elizabeth, and various other members of the family.
However, this will change when Kate becomes Queen consort. She will no longer have to bow to those who are higher up in terms of royal status – because she will almost be at the top herself. While Queen consort, she will still need to kneel in front of her husband.
