We assumed that once William was in charge, he and his family would be expected to take up residence in Buckingham Palace. However, maybe that’s not the case, after all. Despite the estate’s history as the home of the British monarch, Prince Charles reportedly has no desire to live there when he’s King.
Instead, he’ll continue to live at Clarence House, while Buckingham Palace will simply serve as somewhere to carry out his duties. That wasn’t something that we’d anticipated from the Prince, and it changes everything.
