The backdrop and focal point of many adventure movies, the Pyramids of Giza are another wonder of the world to make the list. Unsurprisingly, many people make the trip to visit them during their lifetime. Famously the burial place of Tutankhamun, the tomb was discovered in 1922 after pyramids were excavated. The tombs held many treasures, and of course, mummified ancient Egyptians pharaohs were buried inside with their riches to bring to the next life.
