There is a real party atmosphere on the beach, one that can suck you up and spit you back out. Crime rates are high in the city, and this spills over onto the beachfront. The water on the beach is filthy, most locals don’t actually swim in the sea anymore due to the pollution and discarded food cartons that can be found in it.
