Commissioned in 1632 by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, the building is actually a tomb which holds Shah and his partner. The building is overflowing with intricate detail, from marble carvings to ornately painted ceilings, the Taj Mahal is a beauty to behold, and everyone should try to experience it at least once.
