This theory makes a whole lot of sense, but for some reason it never gets talked about in the books, or the movies. People have speculated that Harry Potter is in fact the descendant of Hogwarts founder Godric Gryffindor. During Harry’s second year in Hogwarts, fellow classmates thought that he might be the heir of Salazar Slytherin, but when he pulled Godric Gryffindor’s sword out of the sorting hat, it couldn’t have been plainer that this wasn’t true.
