As soon as Storyteller hit the shelves, fans went wild. Carrie had a released an album like no other as her new singles took listeners on a journey. The singer aimed to retell the story of her life, almost like they were listening to a book. One of the hit singles from the album was titles Smoke Break which was a tongue-in-cheek story about needing a break after a busy day at work. The single was written with Hillary Lindsey and Chris DiStefano who have helped Carrie write some of her biggest hits over the years.
