Carrie Underwood explained in her blog what had happened on that fateful day in November 2016. She said to her fans that she isn’t looking quite her best and that in addition to breaking her wrist she had also injured her face. “I’ll spare you the gruesome details,” she told her fans, but when she left surgery the night of her fall, the doctor told her husband, Mike Fisher, that between 40 and 50 stitches had to be put in.
