Before the photograph had been uploaded on social media, Carrie had consistently been warning her fans that she would “look a bit different” – but in fact, it was the complete opposite. When looking at the photograph, fans could not notice anything different about Carrie and her face. There was not a stitch in sight! However, Carrie did ensure that only one side of her face was on show in the photo, so there could be a chance she instinctively covered her battle scars from view.
