After weeks of speculation, a member from the Carrie Underwood team decided to put all of the rumors to bed and release an official statement. Her rep contacted E! News with a true recollection of what happened in November 2017. This statement confirmed that Carrie had “sustained multiple injuries” after a fall in her own home, and was taken to the hospital to treat a broken wrist and abrasions. The statement also noted that her recovery would involve “regular physical therapy.”
