When Carrie’s fourth studio album dropped, fans were amazed to hear the darker lyrics. Blown Away was not only the name of the record but also the name of the leading single on the album. The album told the story of the singer’s emotional upheaval in addition to all the emotions she had been feeling leading up the event. Although fans weren’t expecting to hear such heart-wrenching lyrics, the rock songs won over the hearts of everyone as fans and critics alike all praised the tunes.
