When everyone’s favorite funny guy from The Office, John Krasinski, suddenly decided to direct and star in a horror movie, people were suspicious. This seemed like a recipe for disaster – but the result vowed critics everywhere. The beautiful videography, the slow paced story, the acting – they loved it all. The audience? Not so much.
Even though people couldn’t complain about the quality of the movie – most simply didn’t find it even remotely scary, which is kind of the point of a horror movie. Some even went as far as to say it was straight up boring.
