We are first introduced to Matilda Grace Johnson in Season 9, as she employs the (very briefly) unemployed Harm Rabb. Matilda owns a local crop-dusting business and is estranged from her father who she feels was responsible for her mother’s death. Rabb actually decides to foster Matilda, taking care of her until she eventually reunites with her father. This young character also has a nasty biplane accident which leaves her potentially paralyzed for the rest of her life. Matilda Grace Johnson features in 17 episodes from Season 9-10, including the penultimate episode of the whole show!
