Petty Officer Tiner brings some comic relief to JAG, as the “best assistant” Admiral Chegwidden has ever had. The Admiral’s Yeoman has plenty of hilarious moments in the show, but also some touching moments such as sticking up for the LGBT community to protect his brother, Edward Proxy. Eventually, he graduates from law school and leaves the show in Season 9 to go to Officer Candidate School, after featuring in 102 episodes.
