Elena is the hotel manager at Rosarito Beach Hotel. When Ilene’s husband gets a heart attack and becomes a zombie during the wedding, she locks the guests inside the ballroom, to contain the outbreak. Several of the surviving guests confront her, as they’re outraged by her decision. But Madison, whose family is taking refuge at the hotel, convinces them all to work together and clear the hotel of zombies. It was later shown that the hotel community has been run down by walkers, so Elena’s fate is unknown.
