Liza is the ex-wife of Travis, who was Madison’s boyfriend before he died. Prior to the outbreak, she was living outside L.A. with her son, Chris, and training to be a nurse. When the apocalypse begins, she manages to survive along with her family, together with Madison’s. When she gets bit by a walker, she begs Travis to shoot her, in order to stop her from turning into a zombie, and makes him promise to protect their son. He honors her request, and puts an end to her life.
