It’s no secret that Stan Lee has often drawn from Greek mythology to create his characters, and Elektra is no different. As a ferocious and volatile assassin, Elektra is the kind of superhero you wouldn’t want to meet down a dark alleyway.
It’s this use of weapons and martial arts that often leaves Elektra in between superhero and villain. This also gets in the way of her relationship with Daredevil – who have a Ross-and-Rachel style relationship. There are just a few more swords in this romance…
