Although she may be the odd-one-out in the apartment of nerds in The Big Bang Theory, it’s no surprise that Kaley was the girl-next-door-type that all of the movie producers wanted and still want to this day. Because of this, Kaley had a rather successful acting period before she was cast as Penny. Before she took on the role of Leonard’s on and off again girlfriend, she actually scored major roles in the magical TV series, Charmed, as well as the sitcom, 8 Simple Rules.
