In 2010, Mayim was offered a guest role to play Amy Farrah Fowler in The Big Bang Theory. She impressed the producers and the fans so much that she was eventually offered a main role in season four! Since then, Mayim has made a huge impact on the show and in Sheldon Cooper’s life, and she has since been nominated for various awards for her role on The Big Bang Theory. In 2016 and 2018, she won the Critics’ Choice Television Award as the Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. A well-deserved win.
