Sally Field is a multi-award-winning actress who rose to stardom in the ’60s on the sitcom Gidget and then on The Girl with Something Extra. She then moved on to movies such as Absence of Malice, Mrs. Doubtfire Steel Magnolias, and Murphy’s Romance. She is probably most famous for her role in Forrest Gump as Mrs. Gump. Her more recent credits include The Amazing Spider-Man as well as her main role on hit drama series Brothers & Sisters as Nora Walker.
