It’s a known fact that the Super Bowl is the time to see the best commercials. People who are not even sports fans will tune in to the football game just to watch the iconic advertisements. One that goes down in history is the “Wassup” commercial that aired from 1999 to 2002.
The commercial was advertising the adult beverage company Budweiser and featured a bunch of guys sitting around, watching football and drinking cold ones. They were all on the phone sticking their tongues out and shouting “Wassup?!” It turns out these men were a group of friends of the guy who directed the commercial. Their names are Fred Thomas, Paul Williams, Terry Williams, and Jimmy Perez. Scott Martin Brooks is an actor who stepped in as well.
