Chocoholics of the world rejoice, for your prayers have been answered! That delicious confection you love so much has come up with something new – a fourth kind of chocolate! As we know, the three types of chocolate thus far are white, dark, and milk. Each of these are delicious, and there is a time for all of them. Personally, we prefer milk over white and dark, but we would happily sample all three if the opportunity presented itself.
But, have you ever gotten to a stage where you wished there was another type of chocolate as well? Most people would settle for three different types of chocolate, but, not us chocoholics, oh no! We want as many different types of chocolate as we possibly can, and that’s why it was music to our ears to hear that there is a fourth type of chocolate currently on the market.
What is it?
The new type of chocolate invented by scientists is known as ruby chocolate. It has a wonderful pinkish hue to it and is the first new chocolate to be invented since white chocolate back in the ‘30s. This delightful chocolate is perfect for pink lovers everywhere, and we reckon it would go wonderfully with a couple glasses of rosé! And, the best thing about it is that the pink color is not artificial in any way. It hasn’t been achieved by adding coloring or using berries, it actually comes from the ruby cocoa bean used to make it.
How is it made?
So, now you’re aware of it you most likely want to know all about how this wonderful new chocolate is made! Well, the bean in question is most commonly found in Ecuador, The Ivory Coast, and Brazil, and has that perfect combination of smoothness and fruitiness. Apparently, this is a chocolate that has been 13 years in the making – that’s almost as long as it took Axl Rose to make Chinese Democracy! The composition remains a mystery, but we will most likely find out more once the product hits the market – and it will be aimed squarely at Millennials.
What to expect
It seems like a lot of time has gone into making this chocolate look and taste as amazing as possible. We already have three types of delicious chocolate to choose from, so it’s important that they make this chocolate unique and different in as many ways as they can. We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to snap some shots of this gorgeous-looking chocolate for our Instagram accounts! This is definitely going to be a trendy product same for hip, happening young people, and we’re excited to see where they go with it.
