It’s not unusual for female gamers to unfairly receive criticism from their male counterparts, but none seem to have been attacked quite as viciously as Kaceytron. Luckily, this gamer takes it all in her stride and is more than capable of throwing it back in the face of her trolls. Her witty retorts and good humor make her irresistible to watch, especially when she takes on games like World of Warcraft and League of Legends. People can criticize Kaceytron all they want, but the millions of views speak for themselves.

Tara Babcock

Tara Babcock is one of those women who can never get enough of gaming. In a self-published article, she revealed that 90% of her spare time is devoted to video games. That’s a lot for someone who also makes a career out of the activity. Her YouTube account Tara Babcock Games! has over 160,000 subscribers, the videos from which have amassed millions of views alongside her Twitch streams. Maybe it’s because she’s not afraid to get a bit personal whenever she films her videos.

Kristen Michaela

Kristen Michaela, known better as KittyPlays in the gaming world, is a devoted streamer on Twitch. She has hundreds of videos on the site, with at least one streamed every day, while her YouTube account is also incredibly popular. Some of her uploads have hit more than a million views, including one of her playing Agar.io, a game she helped make popular several years ago. Nowadays, KittyPlays focuses her streams on the sandbox survival game Fortnite, where she regularly comes out on top.

Julia Kiran

As it stands, Julia Kiran (or Juliano) is one of the highest earning women in eSports. Through professional gaming, the twenty-four-year-old has amassed more than $27,000. That’s a pretty hefty sum for someone who’s competed in 22 tournaments during their professional career. Due to playing in a competitive environment, Juliano prefers to focus her efforts on just one game to ensure she can become the best of the best. Her choice of game is the first-person shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and it’s one she’s amazing at.

Raychul Moore

Many people try to play “hardcore” titles to fit in with the “serious” gamers out there, but Raychul Moore isn’t afraid to embrace her silly side when it comes to gaming. You won’t meet anyone with quite as extensive a collection of Mario plushies as Raychul. That’s only one side of her though. She’s an all-round lover of video games, and she shows that in her videos. Not only does she love playing games and cosplaying their characters, but she also reviews them too. Her opinions are worth listening to.

KayPeaLol

If you’re a gamer, then you’ll understand that the “lol” in KayPea’s username doesn’t stand for laugh out loud. No, it means League of Legends, the video game that this girl can’t get enough of. It turns out her viewers can’t get enough of it either. KayPeaLol has racked up more than 70 million views on her YouTube and Twitch videos, which is more than most female gamers out there. It’s more than a lot of male gamers too. People just can’t get enough of KayPeaLol’s quirky style of gameplay.

Dizzy Kitten

Compared to some of the women on this list, Dizzy Kitten is a bit of newbie to the whole online gaming thing. She’s been in the industry for a couple of years, starting off with a YouTube account before moving over to Twitch. While she might not be a veteran when it comes to streaming online, though, Dizzy Kitten is no amateur. She has some of the best reflexes out there, and enjoys playing indie games like Stardew Valley and The Binding of Isaac, as well as Triple-A titles.

Zainab Turkie

Another person who has found huge success in the eSports world, Zainab Turkie is slightly more successful than her fellow Swedish gamer Juliano. Known by the nickname of zAAz, she’s brought in over $26,000 from the 24 tournaments that she’s played over the last decade. She’s a huge fan of Counter-Strike, originally known for playing Counter-Strike: 1.6 before later moving on to Global Offensive. With almost 20 years of gaming experience behind her, zAAz is a woman who can challenge the best of them.

Kaitlyn Richelle has used her popularity as a gamer to good use. In 2017, she was able to pay off a year of medical school by streaming through Twitch. Many of the world’s best gamers can earn a reasonable income by streaming online, and Kaitlyn is no different. She’s been able to balance studying and gaming perfectly, and her fans have continued to support her in the process. During one stream, she raised $7000 just through 24 hours of gaming. Not bad for a day’s work.

Christine Chi

So many women can’t get enough of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Christine Chi, or Potter as she’s known in the community, is another gamer whose skills have managed to net her a good amount of money from eSports tournaments. The $22,000 she’s earned from playing the game competitively has helped keep her financially stable while she continues to better herself in the virtual world. The fact that Christine is now in her 30s confirms that gaming is no longer something limited just to children – it’s anyone’s game.

LD Shadow Lady

We expect many people aspire to be LD Shadow Lady. This 25-year-old gamer now has 3.9 million subscribers on YouTube, with her most popular videos all managing more than that. She’s so popular that her total views have now exceeded one billion, which is pretty incredible for someone who’s been gaming online for less than a decade. While LD Shadow Lady mostly plays Minecraft, she occasionally expands into other franchises too, such as The Sims. If it isn’t broken, though, it clearly doesn’t need to be fixed.

Stephanie Harvey

Stephanie Harvey, aka missharvey, is one of those gamers who’s managed what a lot of other people haven’t. While she’s devoted to playing video games, she’s also pretty adept at making them. She works as a designer for Ubisoft Montreal, a job which gives her an insight most other gamers don’t have. It also helps support her eSports training, which has so far earned her a little more than $21,000. As a winner of five Counter-Strike: Global Offensive world championships, missharvey is at the top of her game.

Eefje Depoortere is known in the gaming world as Sjokz, a name taken from the video game Unreal Tournament. She’s a gamer with a passion for the first-person shooter genre, something that has helped her compete in eSports championships around the world. As well as enjoying playing games, Sjokz also loves to talk about them, which inspired her to become an interviewer for CyberSportsNetwork and SK Gaming. Despite earning more money than her other competitors, Mystik has only appeared in 3 tournaments, one of which was the reality show WCG Ultimate Gamer. This gamer’s success shouldn’t come as a huge surprise considering she grew up in a family who were incredibly supportive of the hobby. They’re all fans of video games themselves.

Melonie Mac doesn’t have any trouble attracting viewers to her channel. With over 117,000 followers on Twitch and another 330,000+ on Youtube, people already know this gamer is worth watching. As well as newer titles like Shadow of the Colossus, Melonie likes to play something a little different on her streams. Unlike many others, she isn’t afraid to delve into retro games, especially if they’re in the Tomb Raider series. This is one girl who loves her some Lara Croft, and we love watching her play it.

SSSniperwolf

With almost 9 million subscribers on YouTube, gamer SSSniperwolf is doing pretty well for herself. Although she’s started branching out into online content that isn’t just about gaming, the star has uploaded more than a thousand videos dedicated to her love of games. She’s not just a one-game girl, either. SSSniperwolf plays a variety of titles on her channel, many of which offer multiplayer content like Overwatch and Grand Theft Auto. It’s no wonder that her total views now stand at more than 1.8 billion.

While SSSniperwolf might be a YouTube star who branched away from gaming, Justine Ezarik is one who branched into gaming. Known online as iJustine, she made the side account iJustineGaming following her success as a vlogger. She plays a diverse selection of games, including Minecraft, Halo and Mario Kart, all of which have helped her gain 685,000 followers. It’s not uncommon for YouTube stars to go into gaming as a way to attract more viewers, but iJustine does it with a lot more authenticity than most others.

Jessica Nigri

Jessica Nigri is a cosplayer’s dream. The Reno-born gamer has spent the last decade dressing up as some of her favorite fictional characters, including the beloved Pikachu from Pokémon. Her popularity as a cosplayer has helped her rack up more than eight million followers over social media, and also landed her a voice role in an anime production. You don’t make a living out of dressing up as video game characters without having an intense passion for the games they derive from, though. She live streams on Twitch where she plays all manner of games, including League of Legends and Assassin’s Creed. Sometimes, she even dresses as a character while playing their game.

Erin Wayne

Erin Wayne, who is known in the gaming world as Aureylian or Aurey, started her YouTube channel back in 2011 and since then she has had over 35 million views, and more than 300,000 subscribers. She does let’s play commentary, and is a member of the MineCrack server. In 2016 she announced that she would no longer be uploading her gaming to YouTube, as she is now a valuable employee of Twitch running one of their Minecraft programs. Nevertheless, her gaming videos are still something to see!

Known as AshleyMarieeGaming, this YouTube star makes it pretty clear what you can expect from her YouTube channel. However, unlike other gamers out there who might claim to be the best, Ashley isn’t afraid to admit that part of watching her videos might mean watching her fail at a game. Abilities aside, whether she is gaming or vlogging people love her style and videos. She has over 673,000 subscribers to her channel, and her videos have received millions of views.

Sonja Reed

Sonja Reed, or better known by her handle as OMGitsfirefoxx, started her YouTube channel in 2013. While she had a modest following, what really helped her take off was her involvement in the games of Mianite. She also plays a lot of Overwatch and Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Her YouTube channel has more than 792,000 subscribers, and it continues to grow. On her channel she likes to refer to herself as a “full time dragon slayer and part time sniper,” and she continuously uploads new gaming videos on a daily basis.

Sasha Hostyn

Sasha Hostyn, also known as Scarlett by her fans, is the highest earning female gamer in the world. She has gone above and beyond in her gaming career, gaining a huge following after she continuously kept beating out the top gamers in the industry. She has had to overcome adversity in the male dominated arena as a transgender woman, but so far she keeps coming out on top. The New Yorker has even gone as far to call her one of the most accomplished women in e-sports.

Amy Lee

If you want some fun, bubbly energy with your gaming videos, then Amy Lee is the way to go. Known as Amy Lee Thirty Three, this female gamer has over a million subscribers on her YouTube channel. Pretty impressive considering she used to have a career as a teaching assistant. Her main games of choice are Minecraft, The Simms, and Roblox. She also loves to throw in some cute games and videos involving mermaids, fairies, flowers, and all sorts of animals.

StacyPlays

Stacy Hinojosa is better known by her YouTube channel handle StacyPlays. The channel has close to 1.8 million subscribers, and Stacy doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. Most of the gaming on her channel centers around Minecraft, although she does play some other games here and there. Stacy is also very passionate about animals, and it’s translated into her own invented game Dogcraft. On top of that, at the end of her videos she usually tells her viewers to go adopt a dog.

Wang Xinyu

Wang Xinyu, who goes by the player name BaiZe, is one of the top earners in the world of e-sports. In 2017 alone, she earned over $27,000. While she was well known in her home country of China, she has recently made a big impression on Western fans after her participation in the Hearthstone Champion Tour. She has become the first woman ever to compete in one of their seasonal championship, which definitely earns her a spot on this list.

Tiffany Garcia

Tiffany Garcia, known as iHasCupquake, has created a YouTube channel that features gaming and all things geek. So far she has over six million subscribers to her channel, which is a pretty amazing feat unto itself. She has become one of the most watched online gamers, and her most popular videos usually feature MineCraft, The Simms, or Five Nights At Freddy’s. In addition to her YouTube channel, you can also find her gaming on Twitch where she has also seen a lot of success.

Michelle Smith

Michelle Smith, known for her YouTube channel, TheRPGMinx, is a British gamer and a game commenter. Michelle, or Minx as she is often called, is not one to show her face while playing, and in 2017 she did a big reveal regarding what she looked like. She tends to play mostly horror, indie, and co-op games, and her videos have tens of thousands of views. In 2015 she married her wife, fellow gamer and YouTuber, KrismPro.
