The future is here, all you have to do is look for it! There are so many new inventions being created each year that bring many of our fantasies to life. We’ve picked out five of the best you didn’t know existed for you to keep your eyes peeled for…

Anti-theft lunch bags

Putting your lunch in a shared work refrigerator can be fraught with difficulty. Will someone from upstairs come along and “accidentally” eat your lunch yet again? No longer with these anti-theft lunch bags. They make it seem as though your sandwich has gone moldy, putting off anybody who even thinks about taking someone else’s lunch! Now all you have to worry about is the cleaner coming along and taking one look at your moldy sandwich before throwing it into the trash.

Segway Drift

So Segways have been around for a pretty long time now, and there’s a good chance you might have seen one or two roaming about the place. Segway have decided they need to take things to the next level and are now offering the Segway Drift. This latest invention from the transportation company increases the level of difficulty. Now you will stand on two shoe-sized pads and try to balance without the aid of a helpful steering column. It looks pretty tricky, but if you can get the hang of it the Segway shoe is going to be so much fun!

Seaflayer

Sometimes you don’t want the hassle of learning to dive while becoming a strong swimmer, you want something that’ll do the work for you. That’s where the Seaflayer comes in! All you need to be able to do with the Seaflayer is to hold your breath, the device will do the rest. You hold on with two hands and allow this handheld device to cut you through the water, diving to depths as low as 10 meters. If you’re worried about disturbing the marine life you might find, the motors are quiet and won’t scare them away. A GoPro camera can be attached which means you can film your journey through the deep blue sea.

Manta 5 Hydrofoiler

Cycling is now one of the most popular activities on the planet but it has its limitations, for instance, you can’t cycle on the water, right? The Manta 5 Hydrofoiler allows cycling enthusiasts to enjoy their favorite pastime while exploring an entirely different environment, the water. All you need is some leg power, and you’ll be gliding along the top of the water alongside jet skiers and windsurfers alike!

Snow Feet

When you go skiing, there is one thing you really can’t live without, a set of skis. There is a new invention called Snow Feet which changes everything and allows people to skate on the snow wearing nothing but a pair of boots. Now you can have the freedom of movement that wearing a large pair of skis can often prevent.

These inventions have somehow slipped under the radar, but they’ll soon be coming to a ski slope, ocean, or refrigerator near you soon!
